Aim
creat a distinct special model to empower individuals who are mentally handicapped, securing their protection and respect in the area of Biet Sahour.
Activities
In the Oasis Rehab Center, adults with mental disabilities produce gift products from recycled paper and olive tree wood. They engage in meaningful work and social activities that lay a basis for integration into their communities.

The Oasis Rehab Center in Biet Sahour
produces thousands of cards, wall hangings, bookmarks, clocks, calendars, and other recycled paper gifts that are sold in Palestine, Germany, Scotland, Canada, Italy and the United States. Product sales cover approximately 25% of operating costs.

The team of the Workshop consists of people between the ages of 18 and 38, all with mental disabilities. The group is currenty operating with a maximum capacity of eighteen workers.

People working in the Workshop receive a small stipend as an exercise to learn how to be more independent. Medical insurance is offered by the Biet Sahour Medical Centre.
